ACCEPTANCE AND INTEGRATION TRAINING® CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
As a certified AAIT™ practitioner, you have joined a growing community of healing arts professionals who believe in the innate goodness and capacity of our clients. We are committed to helping our clients by keeping our skills sharp and understanding grounded.
We come from all walks of life and share an urge to maintain the integrity of and forward the AAIT™ experience through practice, research, and education. We represent a diverse and skilled collective of practitioners who are committed to providing superb care as demonstrated by continuous learning, refined skills alongside dedication to our own personal well-being.
Your Certification Entitles You To:
There is a notable difference in skill and understanding when we practice and engage in continuous learning and when we don’t. Distinguishing yourself as a member in good standing sets you apart from those of us who choose to take a course in AAIT™ ™ but do not practice regularly. Further, the primary intention of this guild is to preserve the integrity of this work for you and future generations.
Access to our community of certified practitioners will support you in your professional growth as you become more recognized for your specialty. Our community is a generous one with an easy sharing of referrals, resources, and insights.
People regularly call Melanie McGhee and others in the AAIT™ community asking for a referral to an AAIT™ practitioner. She often refers them to the website as it’s getting to the point that she can’t keep up with these calls. As people search for practitioners in your niche, your certification presents you as a professional in good standing, setting you apart from your peers. As our community grows, this extends the leveraged value of your certification. We already have people search the website for practitioners, we only anticipate this will increase.
The more you share the more we can share. As a member in good standing, it will be easy for people interested in AAIT™ to find your event increasing your reach and impact.
Access to the AAIT™ Skills Lab will increase your understanding of and refine your skills and practice of AAIT™. Searching videos for a specific method or topic will allow you to engage in self-directed skill refinement. In this way, you will be able to easily identify paths for continuous learning. Access to updated digital training materials and resources to enhance learning, broaden your view of the potential of our collective work, and strengthen your sense of competency.
As training materials continue to improve, your easy access to these improvements will make it easier for you to keep up to date and aligned.
The use of Acceptance and Integration Training®, seals, and logos will give you credibility in the community and identify you as an AAIT™ practitioner in good standing.
The importance of refresher courses in our learning and refinement of skills is crucial. We urge you to refresh yourself on any aspect of this model as you continue to practice. Generally, these discounts are 50% the cost of the course. Should you wish to repeat one weekend of the FTG, you will only be charged for that weekend. (2 day trainings are approximately $600)
Your annual continued competence plan and annual fee is due yearly on March 31 when your fee renews. If your certification lapses and you choose to renew it, you may be subject to the going rate at the time. Renewing your certification may also require refresher courses.
Annual Fee: $108
Why $108? The number has a resonance for several reasons. Our intention is to build a community that lasts long after us. Vedic mathematicians considered 108 to represent the wholeness of existence. The book of James in the Bible whose primary message seemed to be that there is no real faith without charitable works contains 108 verses. 108 is the numeric representation of infinity.
The monies from the certification fees will contribute to research and scholarship funds as well as supporting the structure of our learning community.
Maintaining your certification requires that you attest that you have fulfilled the annual certification of continued competence:
Engage in at least 50 hours of professional practice serving others.
At least 60% of your practice includes the use of AAIT™.
Engage in personal embodiment practice using AAIT™.
Complete a self-assessment, identify professional wins, insights, and challenges.
Identify learning needs.
Design and complete a professional growth plan that includes at least 7 hours of learning, either AAIT™ related reading, video review or course work.
Certify you intend to implement the learning plan and comply with the Licensure and Services Agreement.
If you have not met these requirements and you wish to maintain your certification, you may be eligible for provisional certification.
